The Saffron correspondence cards are a design which features your initials centred at the top of the card and your address and contact details at the bottom.You can configure Saffron to your precise requirements by following our easy step-by-step ordering process where you will select from a choice of six luxury papers and twelve specially chosen ink colours which you can combine to create your own bespoke arrangement. Saffron can be either flat printed or engraved since the coloured edges are applied by hand.

Print Process: Litho printed (flat printed) or Engraved. Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.
The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.
The Card Edges: For these products we use a thick 540gsm weight so as to be able to colour the edges. You can choose to apply a colour to match the font or you can choose a contrasting colour to spice it up.

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Upon receipt of your order we will email a pdf proof to you within 1 working day. We will be happy to amend this proof should you wish to make any changes.
Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
