You can choose from one of 12 different ink colours which we engrave onto one of 6 choices of thick textured card from the Colorplan range.
Once you have chosen your engraving colour, you can then either match the edges to the ink or choose a contrasting colour on the edges of your visiting cards. We use a 540gsm weight of card to show the coloured edges to best effect.
Engraved Print Process: Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.
The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.
The Card Edges: For these products we use a thick 540sgm weight so as to be able to colour the edges. You can choose to apply a colour to match the font or you can choose a contrasting colour to spice it up.

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.
Proofs
Upon receipt of your order we will email a pdf proof to you within 1 working day. We will be happy to amend this proof should you wish to make any changes.
Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
