The Connaught visiting card really is one of our most classic and we feel timeless designs. In this example we have chosen our Engraver's script, which we reserve only for the engraved print process. The white ink is beautifully contrasted against the thick 540gsm Tabriz blue card that we selected for this example from a choice of ten card shades and your contact details are laid out on opposing corners providing an aesthetic symmetry. The edges of the card have also been coloured white to provide a subtle frame that further enhances the design.
Engraved Print Process: Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.
The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.
The Card Edges: For these products we use a thick 540gsm weight so as to be able to colour the edges. This product uses white ink only on the edges

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
