By combining deep shades of coloured card form the Colorplan range with engraved white ink we have created our Cliveden at home card which is almost as striking as its Chatsworth stablemate yet, dare we say, more modern. It is certainly very chic, with the white ink contrasting beautifully with the lovely selection of colours that we have chosen for the card and, though not as glitzy as the burnished gold to be found on the Chatsworth at home invitation, Cliveden’s white ink is perfect for daytime events or those held in the warmer months.
The 540gsm card has sufficient bulk to enable us to apply white ink to them thereby creating the white edges which we feel are a lovely finishing touch.
As a visual link with the white ink we have chosen to team Cliveden with our substantial 170gsm white envelope lined in the same coloured paper as the invitation, so that they match perfectly.
Engraved
Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.
The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
