Carolina visiting cards are either litho printed, which makes them flat to the touch, or traditionally engraved, which raises all the text above the surface of the card. As well as selecting a font and the print process, you will be offered a choice of six paper colours and twelve different ink colours to provide you with plentiful options and creative possibilities.
Upon receipt of your order will will create a PDF setting proof which we will send to you within one working day. We are happy to amend this proof until it meets with your approval.
Print Process: Litho printed (flat printed) or Engraved. Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.
The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Upon receipt of your order we will email a pdf proof to you within 1 working day. We will be happy to amend this proof should you wish to make any changes.
Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
