The greater opacity of the inks that are used for engraved stationery enable us to offer card and ink combinations that would not be possible with other print processes where white ink and dark coloured cards rarely combine.
We have given you a choice of ten handsome cards shades from which to make you selection, any one of which will team beautifully with engraved white ink. Due to the sumptuously thick Colorplan 540gsm card that we use, any colour that is added to the edges of the card is shown to best advantage. As you will no doubt have guessed, the edges on our Buckingham visiting card are, of course, finished in white.

Engraved Print processes:
Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped
**The Copper plate can be held with us for future use or we can send it to you with your order.**
The card edges:
For these products we use a thick 540gsm weight so as to be able to colour the edges. This product uses white ink only on the edges

PRINTING TIME
Once you have approved your proof for printing your order will then be manufactured and ready to ship to you within 10 working days.
