Artist Natalia del Rivero was inspired by the Martinique wallpaper at her favourite restaurant in New York, Indochine, and by her travels to many tropical destinations when creating a card for us with the curvaceous banana leaf as its subject.
By featuring leaves of many different sizes which gently crowd the viewer, Natalia has sought to evoke the lush tropical vegetation which she has encountered on her travels that is characterised by a multiplicity and variety of differently sized and coloured leaves in many hues of green that she has captured so effectively here. Inside the card we have created a ‘clearing’ where you can write your own message.
