Knebworth House's Jacobean Banqueting Hall, one of the most stunning rooms in the country. It has hosted guests, including Queen Elizabeath I and Queen Elizabeth II. Wedding ceremonies may be held in the Tithe Barns, Cobbold and Lytton Barns, Garden Gazebo within Knebworth House Gardens and Knebworth House itself. The gardens at Knebworth house date back to the 1600’s, with the present design landscaped in the Victorian and Edwardian times. Cobbold and Lytton Barns can accommodate up to 300 guests with a private entrance, patio area, private bar facility and access to the beautiful formal gardens of Knebworth House that provide the stunning backdrop to your wedding photographs.

Chilston Park Hotel, Kent

If an award could be given for the most history-rich venue, Chilston Park Hotel would win an Oscar. Thanks to its authentic 17th century fireplaces, family portraits of viscounts and earls, not to mention the four-posters. The Inn at Whitewell, Lancashire

The Inn at Whitewell

A quintessential country bolthole where once Her Majesty the Queen also arrived. The Inn at Whitewell in Lancashire sits just above the river Hodder. Inside this quirky boutique hotel are flickering fireplaces, hunting pictures, beams, sofas, maps, copies of Wisden and even cricket balls attached to the room keys.
