We have used a softly textured Smoke grey card from the Colorplan range and created a sunken panel within which your invitation text will be beautifully engraved in white ink. To add the finishing touch the edges of the card have been bevelled and coloured white.
For this design we have chosen a luxurious and truly substantial softly textured smoke grey 700gsm card which measures 150mm x 150mm (5.875” x 5.875)”. The substantial 140gsm white envelopes which are supplied with your invitation have gummed flaps and are finished with a smoke grey paper lining.

Engraved Print Process: Engraving uses a traditionally etched copper plate. The paper is then pressed or die stamped into the copper plate thus leaving the ink raised to the touch. Due to the pressing of the ink into the card, you will find that the reverse of the card has an indentation where the ink has been stamped.

The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
